Perfect spaghetti bolognese

This traditional Italian classic is a firm family favourite - who doesn't love slurping spaghetti?

What you'll need
  • 500g beef mince
  • 500g bolognese pasta sauce
  • 400g spaghetti
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 tbsp virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
Method
Step 1.

Add a tablespoon of olive oil to a large saucepan. 

 

Cook the onion until it softens before adding the beef mince. Cook until browned.

Step 2.

Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti per pack instructions.

Step 3.

Once the spaghetti is almost cooked, add the sauce to the beef and onions. Stir thoroughly to ensure everything is coated and let the sauce warm through.

Step 4.

Once the spaghetti is cooked, drain thoroughly and serve.
