Katie Secretan takes the stage at this year's ACS Forecourt Conference

The ACS Forecourt, Power and Convenience Conference took place at the British Motor Museum on 19 November, bringing together retailers, suppliers and industry leaders for one of the most important events in the UK forecourt calendar.

The conference explore major forces shaping the future of the sector: upcoming legislation, changing consumer habits, evolving store formats, and the growing importance of food-to-go in driving modern forecourt performance.

A packed programme of expert speakers featured throughout the day - including Katie Secretan, Managing Director of Co-op Wholesale - who shared insight into how Co-op Wholesale is supporting independent retailers to adapt, grow and stay competitive in a rapidly shifting market. Katie's session highlighted the opportunities ahead for forecourt operators, the role of strong retail partnerships, and how data-led decision-making and fresh-food propositions are becoming central to future convenience success.

Delegates also received an exclusive first look at the 2025 Forecourt Report, which highlights the economic contribution forecourts make across the UK and the vital role they play in the communities they serve.
