Haven Kent Coast site reveals modernised store as part of significant refresh with Nisa

Haven, the UK’s leading holiday park operator, has unveiled its new and extended store at its Kent Coast holiday park. Working with partner, Co-op Wholesale, the home of Nisa, the refurbishment will elevate its guest experience by providing an improved shopping experience for holiday makers.

After a significant investment, taking on the full new Nisa proposition, the popular on-site shop has seen a dramatic 44% increase in shop floor space. This has allowed for an increase in chill and Food-2-Go bays, with double the space for chilled snacks – perfect for enhancing the range and offering a wider choice for guests. Additionally, the store has fitted a beer cave to grow its beer, wine, spirits offering.

The new store is part of an initiative to modernise and enhance experience in shops across Haven parks, utilising the new Nisa proposition.

Beyond store refreshes

The partnership between Haven and Co-op Wholesale goes above and beyond key investment in stores; it also supports charities with important fundraising. As part of the partnership, Haven and Co-op Wholesale’s charity partner, ‘Making a Difference Locally’, have proudly raised £146,000 for charity*. The significant amount has been donated to a range of organisations, including RNLI stations local to Haven sites and Cancer Research UK.

"This new store elevates the guest experience at Kent Coast, and with our swimming pool complex opening alongside it, we're anticipating record visitor numbers. We're excited to welcome both owners and holidaymakers to enjoy everything the park has to offer."

Paul Webster, Partnerships & Sales Director at Co-op Wholesale, home of Nisa, added: This is a fantastic moment for our partnership with Haven - to be the first holiday park to implement our new Nisa proposition having also recently grown the Co-op own-brand to 30% across the Haven estate. To have extended and modernised the store with Haven, gives us tremendous pride. We’re thrilled with the new layout and increase in bays, which will provide shoppers with more choice than ever.

Kate Carroll, Social Value Lead at Co-op Wholesale, said: “The partnership with Haven is a great example of what we can achieve together with our, ‘Making a Difference Locally’ fund. With these donations, we can make a real difference in people’s lives.”
